Bellatrix Joanna Miranda Huffington-Jones was the youngest child (and only daughter) amongst a wealthy family of 14 sons. While she’s a tom-boy at heart, she was raised in an environment where she was taught to behave in a perfectly ladylike manner. While she grew up with all the luxuries a felinoid could ask for she yearned for adventure and much to her parents dismay, she enrolled in the Academy For Science Soldiers on her 17th birthday with hopes of being a Cosmic Hellcat like her childhood friend and idol, Damsel Reed, whom she thinks of as an older sister. She is assigned to the CH-1 as pilot.
As pilot of the FSS-CH9, Damsel is one of the greatest pilots in the entire Squadron. Born to a wealthy family and living a life of relative luxury and privilege, Damsel found herself drawn to a greater calling. She ran away from home and enrolled in the Academy for Science Soldiers and eventually was made a Cosmic Hellcat. Despite her stong sense of duty and love of adventure, Damsel is still a socialite princess at heart. She is as much intrigued by the promise of adventure that being a Hellcat provides, as she is to the nobility and honor it brings. Extended Bio
Tybalt Prince served as a cadet amongst the legendary CH-13 along with Amaya and Chaste. A stickler for the rules, he garnered something of a reputation as a teachers pet and a stick in the mud. These assessments were fair. Tybalt went on to graduate at the top of his class and was quickly promoted through the ranks due to his exemplary service and was eventually given command of his own smartship, the FSS-CH1. Col. Grendel continues to respect Tybalt’s organization, dedication and adherence to policy and as such has allowed him to maintain a crew of rookies, just out of the academy in the hopes that he can turn them into perfect soldiers. The rookies, for their part have lost some respect for Tybalt after seeing the behavior of other crews, most specifically the CH-9.
Yep, that’s real Latin. It effectively translates to “I halt your temptations.” Unless Monksiah (this is what I’m calling the character in my own mind until he’s introduced) meant to say “Halt your temptations, in which case I think it should have actually been “Subsiste vestri tentatio”. Who said Latin is a dead language?
is that real latin?
And this is why Hellcat diplomacy tends to get them in fights.

Actually, it’s kind of a pun. It means I halt your temptation, trial or attack. Take it how you will.
Oh, and his name is Hay’soos.
