Dana Ramirez was an outcast in high school. She was the quiet and weird kid that people mostly just ignored. She was completely consumed by books and reading and constantly lived in the shadow of her twin brother, Sven, who was the most popular kid in school. However, the Academy for Science Soldiers was quite impressed by her entrance exams, scoring higher than any applicant in history. At the Academy, she reinvented herself, going by her last name, earning top marks in every subject and proving herself to be one of the most accomplished combatants that had ever trained there, with accomodations from Col. Grendel himself. Dana graduated from the Academy a year early, leaving her brother behind. Because of her natural skills, she was immediately stationed as weapons master of the most elite of the current Hellcat Units, the CH-99.
Dominique Jackson was a cadet in the same class as Amaya and Nikki, but at the time was assigned to the CH-47. An exceptionally gifted student, she rose to the top of the class and was a favorite among her professors, which naturally set her up as a rival to several other students, many of whom would go on to become her fellow smartship captains. This rivalry remains to this day, but Dominique considers herself somewhat above it. This aloof attitude only serves to fuel the jealousy however. Especially with Nikki Kitai of the the CH-7.
he should have been sent to the salt mines. Not the Lt mind you, but the brat.
Ever tried sending a fourth dimensional planet eating giant to the salt mines? It’s harder than it looks.
