Yep, that's real Latin. It effectively translates to "I halt your temptations." Unless Monksiah (this is what I'm calling the character in my own mind until he's introduced) meant to say "Halt your temptations, in which case I think it should have actually been "Subsiste vestri tentatio". Who said Latin is a dead language?
Actually, it's kind of a pun. It means I halt your temptation, trial or attack. Take it how you will.
Oh, and his name is Hay'soos.
And this is why Hellcat diplomacy tends to get them in fights.
