Vixen grew up as an orphan, being shunted from one foster home, orphanage, or juvenile detention center to another, when she wasn’t running away and getting into trouble with the law. At 15 after being arrested for her part in a in a string of hovercar thefts, the repeat offender was given a choice by the magistrate. She could be sentenced to adult prison or she could enroll in the Academy for Science Soldiers in one last attempt to make something of herself. The discipline of the military seemed to agree with her, as she was able to channel her rage constructively. She graduated with honors from the Academy and was assigned to the CH-1 where she acts as first mate and weapons master.
