How exactly did Justice dawn, anyway?

Max has been sick this week and I’ve been out of town for work, so we decided to run a cosmos instead of the regular comic. On a side note though, I did get to see Batman v Superman the other day. It’s not awful… it’s just also not exactly “good.” If you are interested I have my (spoiler free) review on my other site and I’d love to know what you think.

Gal was pretty over hyped imo. Just wasn’t enough screen time to really get a feel for her as Diana.
Ben was awesome as Batman (I always said he could be).
The acting was good in the movie, the script…needed work.
Though you made me realize. Notice how Superman doing one kill (that he has done in the older comics) has people up in arms, but Batman killing and using guns, has no saying “WTF?! This isn’t Batman!”? :p Batman I know doesn’t kill and doesn’t use guns.
I don’t really want to give spoilers here, so I’m not going to respond directly. Max hasn’t even seen it, though I don’t think he actually cares. Other people might though.

Bats HAS used guns before, admittedly it was long ago. Well before the Comics Code. And there are Alternate versions that do (the universe where it was Bruce that was killed that night in Crime Alley and Thomas became Batman being an example)

True. When he was first introduced and in alternate universes, but then one should be able to say Superman in alternate universes has killed. Justice League had a few episodes based around a Clark that killed Lex.
So why get upset when this alternate universe Superman killed Zod (something he did in the early days as well).
I think that one kill didn’t stop Superman from being Superman, as long as he didn’t become the killer. Also, it’s not like it was Lex. It was Zod! :p
